Hold on to your Santa’s cap for a fast-paced presentation full of ideas! This is a lecture and demonstration on using things from the garden in your holiday decorations. Materials include common evergreens available in most Triangle gardens along with other naturals such as cotton, cattails, fruit, berries and sticks, which are locally available. An introduction will look at expanding the realm of containers used in your decorating schemes for all-natural arrangements. Lastly, color will be discussed. Red, gold, silver, green and white are typical decorating colors. Yet orange and even brown are gaining popularity today.
We will sell raffle tickets for the lucky winners to take home a holiday arrangement.
