The Perennial Plant Association is holding its 36th Annual Perennial Plant Symposium in the Raleigh-Durham area this summer. While most of it is geared toward industry professionals, the symposium kicks off on July 30 with a full day of plant talks that are open to the public. More information here. Early Bird registration is due by June 1.
July 9 is the deadline to register for Course 2 of the Garden Club of North Carolina's Flower Show School to be held in Winston Salem July 16-18

Gardening Study School - Course 1: June 4-5, 2018 and Course 2: Nov 22-23, 2018 JCRA, Raleigh, NC
Guests welcome! Meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30-1:00, and are usually held at the NC State University Club (full details below). Meetings include a catered lunch so reservations must be made by the Wednesday before each meeting.
Reservations and Cancellations Required
To ensure we have enough seats, reservations are REQUIRED even if you choose "No Lunch", Guests can request a reservation here. Members reserve through your emailed invitation or follow the instructions on the Meeting Reservations webpage.
Our caterers charge for everyone who reserves a space. If you are unable to attend, please remember to cancel to avoid receiving an invoice.
Cost of Lunch
Lunch is $18.00. This includes gratuity and a set-up fee of $2.00 per person. Those requesting “no lunch” must still pay the $2.00 set-up fee. Please do not bring food or beverages of any kind to our luncheons. - this is a State Health Code violation.
