A Century in Bloom: A Tribute to Floral Design, Past and Present

Raleigh Garden Club sponsored a special Moonlight in the Garden event exploring the evolution of floral design, from classic traditions to contemporary creations.  This event was presented the first weekend of Moonlight, November 6-8, in honor of their 100th Anniversary.

This unique display celebrated a century of creativity, showcasing the evolution of floral artistry through side-by-side interpretations of traditional and creative design styles. From the refined elegance of classic arrangements to the bold innovation of creative creations, this display designed by members of the Raleigh Garden Club offered a visual journey through time, reflecting the changing trends, techniques, and inspirations that have shaped floral design over the decades.

Whether you're a seasoned designer, a garden enthusiast, or simply a lover of beauty in bloom, this centennial tribute celebrated the timeless art of floral design in all its forms.

Our Designers: Bess Treadwell, Anita Kuehne, Vandy Bradow, Lisa Jennings, Joyce Moses, Jane Barbot and Vicki Thompson. Vicki Corporon created the signage for the event.
